EdTech software development here means learning products people finish: an LMS, a course platform, assessments, and the analytics that show who stalled. Reorigin builds them in Istanbul for schools, universities, and corporate learning teams.
Use Moodle or Canvas when a standard academic LMS is enough. Build when the learning experience is the product — a marketplace, corporate learning with SSO into an HR system, or assessment logic a plugin cannot express. We also extend an existing LMS through its API when replacement would throw away content you already trust. SCORM or xAPI is supported when the content strategy requires a player, completion tracking, and grade pass-back. We do not force every course into a private format.
Corporate programs usually need manager views, assignments, and an HRIS integration. Academic programs need cohorts, grading, and sometimes a report for a parent or a ministry. Both are in scope, and they are not the same data model. The first release is one course type a real learner can finish on web and, if the audience is on a phone between shifts, on mobile. Analytics that nobody opens are cut.
The first release is one completable course type. Catalog scale and HRIS depth are later phases.
| Phase | Duration | Planning band | What ships |
|---|---|---|---|
| Build or extend | 2–3 weeks | Inside the first release | Moodle/Canvas, custom, or an API extension |
| First completable course | 10–16 weeks | Scoped after discovery | Learner flow, assessment if needed, one role for staff |
| Corporate or campus extras | Phased | Separate slice | HRIS, cohorts, or ministry-style exports |
A catalog nobody finishes is a content dump. The first release is judged by a learner reaching the end.
If Moodle already holds the content, we integrate. A parallel player creates two gradebooks.
Instructors need cohorts and exceptions. Learners need the next activity. One overloaded screen serves neither.
We ship the view a named person will open weekly. Vanity charts are cut in discovery.
